So, I’m giving up complaining for Lent and substituting gratitude for the complaining

A lot of people like this idea on facebook so I’m making a post here on my blog and we can all appreciate gratitude and a thankful heart.

As a Christian, the Lenten season is transformed by the joy and thankfulness toward Jesus for His sacrificial gift and triumph over death. I hope to have good friends who are also fellow travellers down this road. Day 1 is tomorrow.

So, it seems that when you stop complaining you run out of things to say.

    • Do I know you from some other venue? I am earnestly trying to determine why you are being unpleasant and I haven’t a clue so if I have offended you in the past, it may be more productive for you to let me know and give me a chance to make ammends.
To the point, I have been uberbusy lately. I had a meeting with a professor on the admissions committee at one of the programs to which I applied, we celebrated my son’s birthday, all day Saturday was devoted to Julianna’s robotics competition (her team won the Design Award) Sunday am was church and I had a 4 hour mentoring training in the afternoon and Julianna was sick three days last week and Pat has been under the weather all weekend.

  2. Today, I am thankful for the great sermon given by John D’Asaro yesterday.
I am thankful that Julianna’s team won the Design Award and I am thankful for a day off for downtime.
